How to qualify

A total of six teams will qualify for the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season via the Qualifiers.

The four winners of the qualifying tournaments will advance to the main stage of the competition automatically and will be placed in the Regular Season as per the results of the draw, with a further two spots reserved for lucky losers due to the fact U-BT Cluj Napoca and BC Prometey secured Basketball Champions League qualification.

The two lucky loser spots will be filled with the runners-up of the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers tournaments. The criteria will be as according to the Official Basketball Rules - section D as follows:

1. Goal difference of the combined results from the FEC Qualifiers tournaments Semi-Finals and Finals will be used as the first criteria.

2. If more clubs have the same goal difference in the combined results of the FEC Qualifiers tournaments Semi-Finals and Finals, the higher number of goals scored in the FEC Qualifiers tournaments Semi-Finals and Finals will be used as the next criteria.

3. If more clubs have the same goal difference and the same number of goals scored in the FEC Qualifiers tournaments Semi-Finals and Finals, a draw shall decide on the final classification.
