Braian Angola leads Round of 16 Top Performers with all-round display
MUNICH (Germany) - Braian Angola earned the Top Performer accolade for the Round of 16 after his impressive display led Ironi Ness Ziona through.
The Colombian international finished with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists in the 90-76 victory against BC Kyiv Basket.
Angola also went 6-of-10 from the field and was joined in the back-court by Jabril Durham after he scored 16 of his game-high 27 points in the fourth and added 8 assists to help Belfius Mons-Hainaut overcome BC Prometey in an 88-81 victory.
Meanwhile, Olivier Hanlan cemented his place amongst the lineup once again after leading Iraklis BC past Anwil, 86-81, with a game-high 22 points on 50-percent shooting to go with 5 rebounds and 7 assists.
There was a spot, too, for Mareks Mejeris with the Latvian posting an efficient 10-point, 10-rebound double-double in a routine 90-61 success for BC Parma in their tie against Rilski Sportist.
Nikola Markovic rounds out the lineup after netting 21 points to help lead CSM CSU Oradea past BC Dnipro in a 78-72 triumph on home soil.
