    Klavs Cavars stars as Top Performer for Gameday 6 in latest Ventspils rout

    MUNICH (Germany) - Klavs Cavars produced the second best efficiency rating of the Regular Season to claim the honor of Top Performer from Gameday 6.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Klavs Cavars produced the second best efficiency rating of the Regular Season to claim the honor of Top Performer from Gameday 6.

    The towering Latvian center posted a mammoth stat-line of 26 points, on 11-of-15 shooting, 13 rebounds, 5 blocks as well as 3 steals as Ventspils completed a perfect First Round with a 122-72 win at Sigal Prishtina.

    Cavars led the rout with his best display of the season so far and the 23-year-old was joined in frontcourt of the Team of the Week by SL Benfica's Eric Coleman after he put up 22 points and 11 rebounds for a double-double in their 95-91 victory on the road.

    American guard Tayler Persons marked his return to the lineup after finishing with 28 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds in a near triple-double effort as ZZ Leiden outlasted PVSK-Veolia in a 105-100 success in overtime.

    Bogic Vujosevic ensured Kapfenberg Bulls tasted victory for the first time with the Serbian guard netting 33 points to go with 6 rebounds and 5 assists as they defeated Keravnos 86-76 to bow out by breaking their duck.
