FIBA Europe Cup Semi-Finals set

MUNICH (FIBA Europe Cup) – The FIBA Europe Cup Semi-Final pairings have been confirmed, following the conclusion of the Quarter-Finals on Wednesday night.

Bakken Bears already booked their Semi-Final ticket on Tuesday, after defeating French side ESSM Le Portel 156-148 on aggregate score, becoming the first Danish team to reach the last four of an international competition.

Wednesday's action saw more history written, as Donar Groningen and Sidigas Avellino also reached their first-ever European Semi-Finals, successfully wrapping up their respective home-and-away series in front of their home fans.

The field is completed by Umana Reyer Venezia, who continue their impressive form on the international stage, having reached the Basketball Champions League Final Four last season.

The Semi-Final pairings are as follows:

Bakken Bears (DEN) v Sidigas Avellino (ITA)

Donar Groningen (NED) v Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA)

The Semi-Finals will be played in a home-and-away format, with the teams listed first above enjoying home-court advantage on the return leg.

The first leg is scheduled for April 11, with the return-leg games set to take place one week later, on April 18.
