BRUSSELS (FIBA Europe Cup) - Basic-Fit Brussels and Keravnos will do the honors of getting the 2017-18 FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season underway with a Group D clash at the Sports Hall Neder-Over-Heembeek in the Belgian capital on Tuesday evening.
For teams who participated in the Qualification Rounds, the season is already four-weeks old, but it will be the first FIBA Europe Cup test for both of the teams involved, as they qualified via the Basketball Champions League.

Having registered their first-ever Finals appearance in the Belgian EuroMillions Basketball League, the Brussels side also made their international debut last year, but could not get past the Regular Season in the FIBA Europe Cup.
Meanwhile, Keravnos went all the way in Cyprus and reclaimed the domestic championship title after nearly a decade-long break, lifting the trophy for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
Basic-Fit will come into Tuesday's game on a positive note, progressing to the Belgian Basketball Cup Quarter-Finals with a 101-94 victory over Gent Hawks, but the start of the season has been somewhat slow for both teams.
The Belgians have just one win in three tries in the Belgian top flight, while Keravnos got their title defense off on the wrong foot, losing the first game to Petrolina AEK, 84-75, on Saturday in the domestic championship.
The two other teams in Group D will start their campaigns one day later, on Wednesday, with Bulgarian side BC Balkan hosting Hungarian visitors Kormend in Botevgrad.
The season-opening clash between Basic-Fit Brussels and Keravnos will tip off at 20:30 CET and will be free to watch live and on demand on YouTube.com/FIBA like all other Regular Season games.
