    MUNICH (FIBA U20 Women's European Championship 2018) - As the latest edition approaches tip-off in Sopron, Italian star Cecilia Zandalasini has taken the FIBA U20 European Championship Greatest of All-Time vote.

    Fans had the opportunity to decide who should take the GOAT accolade, with Zandalasini the runaway winner - despite the field being packed with a host of stellar names from the international game.

    The reigning WNBA champion won 35 percent of the vote as fans opted for her stellar MVP efforts in Matosinhos during 2016, when catapulting Italy to the brink of a title.

    Zandalasini averaged 22 points and 9 rebounds at the event, lighting it up with 31, 27 and 28 points down the stretch in the Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Final - as well as producing some of the Plays of the Tournament.

    Isil Alben of Turkey was second with 18 percent, while Spanish ace Astou Nodour and Hungarian favorite Katalin Honti polled 17 and 16 percent respectively.

    The 2018 edition of the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in Sopron starts on Saturday, with all games live streamed on YouTube and Live Updates available throughout.
