Pairings set for the Round of 16 in Tel Aviv: Lithuania win their group at the buzzer
TEL AVIV (Israel) - The Group Phase is over after three intense Game Days, and the sell out crowd in Tel Aviv will now look forward to the elimination games, starting on Wednesday.
The shocking finish to the Lithuania v Greece game changed the outlook of the Round of 16 completely. Lithuanians were an inch away from finishing second, which would've dragged Slovenia to third and kept Poland at the bottom of group, but Ignas Sargiunas had other ideas.

A buzzer-beating three-pointer in overtime gave Lithuania not only a win over Greece, but also sent them to the top of the group and knocked Slovenia down to fourth spot, behind Poland. Lithuania will now face winless Latvia in the Round of 16, Greece will duel it out with Germany, Slovenia are up against Group C winners Spain, while Croatia will play the red-and-white derby against Poland.
Hosts Israel won two of their group games, but Serbia own the tiebreaker at the top, meaning the title holders slipped to second, while Serbia are getting ready for Great Britain next. Israel will play Montenegro.
