Leading the way and with reason for double-celebration was Nyara Sabally. She followed up her MVP award in Division B last summer, by taking the prestigious honor once again.
She averaged a near double-double of 9.7 points and 9.3 rebounds en-route to Germany's historic silverware success.
She was joined by teammate Leonie Fiebich, who averaged 11.7 points and 8.7 rebounds - along with 2.3 assists per outing. Fiebich also erupted in the Final with an eye-catching 22 points and 11 boards.
Barbara Angyal helped Hungary get only their second-ever medal in the competition, as they took the last podium step - helped by the guard averaging 14.1 points and 3.6 assists per game.
Maria Pendande of Spain not only grabbed a slot in the All-Star Five to go with her silver medal, but 10.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and more than 53 percent from the field also helped her win the Fans' MVP Vote.
Finally, Aleksa Gulbe missed out on a podium finish with Latvia but had the consolation of a place in the All-Star Five after contributing 13.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
