Livonian Order Castle
The Livonian Order Castle is one of the oldest medieval fortresses. In 1290 the castle was first chronicled and this date is now considered to be the year of Ventspils' foundation. The Livonian Order Castle offers activities all year round: concerts, history and art exhibitions on various topics.

Ostas Street promenade
There are many tourist attractions along the Ostas Street promenade or Ventmala like the Livonian Order Castle, the excursion boat "Hercogs Jekabs", Kr.Valdemars monument, the figurative flower bed "Marites" ("Ladybirds") and many more.

Blue Flag Beach
During the summer you will find beach volleyball and football fields as well as cafes. Children will be able to enjoy different types of playground equipment such as slides and swings. The seashore has almost an 80m wide beach of fine white sand and dunes that in some places reach a height of 9m. The Blue Flag Beach stretches for 1.2km.
