Day 4: Who will punch their tickets to the Quarter-Finals?
BOURGES (FIBA U16 Women's European Championship 2017) - Dreams will be made and shattered during Tuesday's all-important Round of 16 at the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship 2017.
The winners of the eight match-ups will advance to the Quarter-Finals and compete for both the podium and a place at next year's FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup in Minsk.
Reigning champions Spain and tournament hosts France are red-hot favorites and they will want to win to continue on their potential collision course if they make the Semi-Finals, while Germany will want to cement their dominance in the other half of the draw.
Meanwhile the losers will be condemned to spending the remainder of the competition fighting for survival. The likes of Romania, Belarus, Lithuania and Netherlands, will all be looking to cause an upset against the top seeds in each pairing and most importantly, secure their Division A status for 2018 in the process.
