    Malta and Andorra cruise to the Semi-Finals

    Malta's 22-4 opening quarter set the tone in a 70-41 win over Gibraltar. The defence was at a high level, forcing 39 Gibraltar turnovers, which led to 37 points from turnovers by Malta. Gibraltar had just six points in the same category.

    Kristy Galea was once again the game hero for Malta, finishing with 21 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Kaya Calleja added 14 points, Michela Zammit Cordina was also in double figures with 13. Arianne Garro had 25 of Gibraltar's 41 points, while Naylin finished the tournament with 22 more rebounds and 9 blocks. Ward averaged 24.3 rebounds and 4.3 blocks per game in Andorra.

    Malta will now play Georgia in the Semi-Finals. The other pairing sees Kosovo take on Andorra, who defeated Wales 57-18. Andorra also created their advantage on the defensive end, as Wales were forced to commit 50 turnovers, which led to 32 steals and 33 points from turnovers for Andorra.

    Carla Solana Perez had 14 points and 9 rebounds, Julia Marquez Tomas finished with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks, and Silvia Badaji Obiols went all-round for her 7 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 10 steals.
