    Andorra cruise into Semi-Finals alongside hosts Kosovo as group winners

    2018 winners Andorra will meet Albania and Kosovo will take on Armenia in the Semi-Finals that will take place on Saturday.

    On Thursday, Andorra secured a perfect 3-0 record in Group B with a dominant 102-40 win over Moldova, while Kosovo secured their third win in Group A after beating San Marino 55-27 to take top spot.


    Kosovo set the tone in their opener as they brushed aside Malta in an 80-28 victory before collecting their second win the following day by overcoming Albania for a 71-65 triumph - outscoring their opponents 7-1 in the extra period as Niman Demiraj and Yii Kastrati combined for 41 points.

    Albania still made it through in second place as they secured a convincing 65-33 win over Malta to back up their opening 50-43 success against San Marino, who missed out in third having claimed their solitary win in seeing off Malta 59-44.

    In Group B, Andorra had defeated Armenia 97-76 on the opening day of the tournament behind 28 points from Cerni Vinas before doubling their win tally with an emphatic 78-38 success against Gibraltar.

    Armenia bounced back from an opening loss to make the last four by beating Moldova 84-72 with 33 points from Gregory Gazarian and then a 76-59 victory over Gibraltar, who had beaten Moldova 72-68.

    The tournament's action will resume on Saturday with the 5-8 Classification Games before the Semi-Finals take center stage as the final four teams battle it out for the title over the weekend.
