Croatia started the day with a 69-52 triumph over France to secure their first Semi-Final appearance at U16 level in five years.
Meanwhile, in the Classification Round for 9th to 16th Place, four teams secured their spot in Division A for next year.
Sweden, Germany, Serbia and Latvia all recorded victories to leave the remaining sides on the brink of relegation with just one more space available.
Marko Pecarski produced a brilliant double-double of 45 points and 19 rebounds to lead his side past Poland.
The hosts will now battle with Estonia, Greece and last year's champions, Bosnia and Herzegovina, for the final survival place.
