    UMMC EKATERINBURG v FAMILA SCHIO
    The defending champions made it 14 consecutive victories in the competition with a dominant 92-47 triumph over Familia Schio.

    Diana Taurasi dished out 6 assists to go with 21 points as the Russian side eased into a 1-0 advantage.

    "We were ready and went out with full confidence to show the best that we can be," said UMMC's Natalia Vieru.

    "Schio are a great team, very competitive at home, so I am sure they will give us a big fight [on Friday]."

    NADEZHDA v ZVVZ USK PRAGUE
    Also making home advantage count were Nadezhda as they recorded a convincing 80-57 success over Prague, in Orenburg.

    Amanda Zahui and Natalia Anoikina shared 36 points in the win as the hosts opened up a double-digit lead at half-time before stretching their advantage.

    The visitors had 13 points from Laia Palau and will target a strong response on their home floor.

    DYNAMO KURSK v BOURGES BASKET
    It's now 15 wins from 15 this season for Kursk, but they were pushed all the way by their battling French opponents before prevailing 76-71.

    Bourges raced out of the blocks and led 43-32 at half-time only to be pipped by a strong second-half display from the home side.

    Angel McCoughtry went 10-of-13 from the field for 25 points with Nnemkadi Ogwumike adding 22 points and 14 rebounds.

    FENERBACHE v PERFUMERIAS AVENIDA
    Candace Parker made an immediate impact to inspire her new side to a 78-68 victory over Avenida.

    The 2013 EuroLeague Women champion scored a game-high 23 points to help Fenerbache fend off a brave challenge from the Italians.

    Jelena Milovanovic had 27 points in defeat with no quarter won by more than four points.

    Game 2 of the Quarter-Finals all take place on Friday with the four losers from today needing to win to keep the series alive.
