Fenerbahce upset reigning champs to make Final
EKATERINBURG (EuroLeague Women Final Four) - Fenerbahce are one game away from a first-ever EuroLeague Women title after they ended the reign of champions UMMC with a terrific 70-61 Semi-Final success.
Turning Point: At half-time, Fenerbahce's big-hitters in Candace Parker, Sandrine Gruda, Birsel Vardarli Demirmen and Alexandria Quigley were a combined 4-of-20. One of them needed to find their range in the second half and Quigley delivered with 15 points, belatedly finding some rhythm as Fenerbahce erupted at the start of the third quarter to get on the front foot.
