Day 6 results: Hosts Finland were left dejected as they missed a golden chance of making history and appearing at the FIBA U17 Women's World Cup for the first time, after going down on their home floor 58-54 to Greece. Instead, it is Germany who delivered a major slice of history as their 70-55 win against Bulgaria helped them come out on top in a five-way tie. A haul of 16 points and 13 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 blocks by Annika Soltau was hugely important as it sunk Bulgaria's chances. Latvia would have advanced had they not been pipped 67-66 by France after Jade Ferre sunk a triple with just a few seconds left in the contest. Dominique Malonga picked up another classy double-double with a majestic 25 points and 19 rebounds - as well as 5 blocks.
