Week 6 Top Performers: Meesseman, Milic, Kone, Williams, Mabrey

MUNICH (Germany) - The resumption of EuroLeague Women action after the international window brought a number of eye-catching individual performances right across across  a number of Week 6 games.

But it was the reigning EuroLeague Women MVP Emma Meesseman of Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding who emerged with the Player of the Week honors after receiving 40 percent of the votes, with Gabby Williams of LDLC ASVEL Feminin finishing second in the fan vote.

Emma Meesseman had a night to remember as she recorded her first ever triple-double in the competition en route to taking unbeaten Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding past ACS Sepsi-SIC 110-63. The Belgian forward was on fire and accumulated 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to amass a performance efficiency valuation of 36.

It wasn't only Meesseman who excelled for Fenerbahce, since center Nikolina Milic completed a devastating one-two punch for the now 6-0 Istanbul giants. She also helped to torch Sepsi with a spectacular 11-of-12 shooting night that harvested 24 points, alongside 8 rebounds.

There was a lot of excitement when Perfumerias Avenida signed Mali standout Sika Kone and after adjusting to her new role, the forward has delivered on that anticipation. She was the driving force behind a much needed 75-66 success against KGHM BC Polkowice after going 8 of 9 from the floor for 21 points and adding 7 rebounds.

LDLC ASVEL Feminin are finally waking up with the taste of victory in their mouths again. Having lost their opening five games, the return of Gabby Williams was instrumental in edging out Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin 73-72.  It was a typical all-action performance as she finished the contest with 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals.

Finally, Cukurova Basketbol Mersin continue to impress and yet again it was Marina Mabrey who propelled them to another victory. The guard racked up 20 points, 5 assists and 3 steals in a 75-63 triumph at home to Serco UNI Gyor.
