Week 14 Top Performers: Meesseman, Williams, Ortiz, Hermosa, Fingall

MUNICH (Germany) - The last week of the Regular Season saw plenty of players sign off with a flourish and several others add some impressive momentum ahead of moving to the Quarter-Finals.

With 47 percent of the overall tally, it was Casademont Zaragoza's Nerea Hermosa who took home the Player of the Week honors, having narrowly beaten Emma Meesseman of Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding, who received 38 percent of the votes.

It was the familiar face of Emma Meesseman who racked up the highest performance efficiency valuation as the Belgian ace accumulated 39 as Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding breezed past DVTK HUN-Therm 95-71. She stepped off court having amassed 25 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 blocks.

Casademont Zaragoza rejoiced as they made the Play-Offs at the first time of asking, with Mariona Ortiz pulling the strings to the delight of more than 6,000 fans who saw them tear down Polski Cukier AZS UMCS Lublin 96-49. The guard never missed a shot and put up 6 points to go with an all-action 8 assists, 5 steals and 5 rebounds.

She is joined in the lineup by Nerea Hermosa who did some nice stuff in the paint for her team as the rookies' fairytale season was extended. She was also flawless and made a stunning 8-of-8 from the field to claim 16 points, as well as pulling down 6 boards.

Nadia Fingall and Valencia Basket Club hoped they might be playing in the Quarter-Finals but they just finished short despite ending the Regular Season with a one-sided 87-60 victory against Beretta Famila Schio. She also shot the lights out, going 9-of-11 en route to 22 points and harvesting 4 rebounds.

There was also a spot for Gabby Williams of LDLC ASVEL Feminin after posting 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists in their 94-77 triumph over ACS Sepsi-SIC to round out a disappointing campaign on a high.
