    MUNICH (Germany) - The opening round of EuroLeague Women Regular Season action is now in the books and there were plenty of super individual displays, but who would you crown as Player of the Week?

    MUNICH (Germany) - The opening round of EuroLeague Women Regular Season action is now in the books and there were plenty of super individual displays.

    The fans had a chance to make their vote count, selecting Kayla McBride of Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding as their Player of the Week with 27 percent of votes.

    Serco UNI Gyor center Kristine Anigwe had the highest performance efficiency valuation of the week at 38 after she harvested a monumental double-double of 27 points and 16 rebounds, as well as handing out 4 assists. However, it was not enough to prevent her team slipping to an agonizing 93-92 overtime loss at Villeneuve d'Ascq LM.

    The French club were largely victorious because of their own star player as Kennedy Burke showed out with a spectacular 29 points, 9 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists to take her team to an opening night success.

    Cecilia Zandalasini helped Virtus Segafredo Bologna to make a statement of intent as they rolled past KGHM BC Polkowice 90-69 off the back of her efforts. The Italian shot 70-percent from the floor en route to 23 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

    Ezi Magbegor made the summer move to ZVVZ USK Praha and she made an instant impression for her new team as they rode past Basket Landes 85-63. The center impressed with a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, also blocking 2 shots.

    Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding showed they will not give up their title easily as they rolled over Valencia Basket Club 96-66. Kayla McBride was a leading architect of the success with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
