Big digits: Who stuffed the stat sheet in the Regular Season?

MUNICH (Germany) - Another exciting EuroLeague Women Regular Season is over and there have been some incredible numbers attained by many leading performers since the competition tipped off back in October.

MUNICH (Germany) - With another exciting EuroLeague Women Regular Season is in the books and players now away for national duties at the FIBA Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournaments, it's the perfect time to look back at the main protagonists of the campaign.

From scoring to rebounding, passing the rock, snapping up steals and swatting shots, we've got it all covered as we look at who landed on the podium of the various stats charts before we switch our attention to the Quarter-Finals and the Final Four.

The scoring table is being led by some familiar names who have all been on fire throughout the campaign. Marina Mabrey finished as the most prolific scorer in the competition after netting 19.2 points per game for Cukurova Basketball Mersin. That helped them to nail down a coveted Quarter-Finals place again.

Emma Meesseman is regularly the leader on the court for Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding as evidenced by her highly productive 17.7 points per outing.

The third podium step of the leading scorers chart is occupied by Bridget Carleton, who was a fine mid-season signing for Serco UNI Gyor. She averaged 17.0 points per game and that was helped by her stunning season-high tally of 41 that she dropped on KGHM BC Polkowice.

Elin Gustavsson of Polski Cukier AZS  UMCS Lublin is the outright leader on the glass with 9.2 rebounds per game and that has been reflective of her strong work for the Polish rookies who endured a challenging first ever season.

It's been a wonderful first season in a ZVVZ USK Praha uniform for Aussie center Ezi Magbegor and that is partly due to some excellent work on the boards, since she has pulled down 8.4 per game for the Group B winners.

Coming in third spot for rebounding with an average of 8.1 each time she stepped onto the court is Kaila Charles. She helped inspire DVTK HUN-Therm to their historical first ever ride to the Quarter-Finals - in only their second campaign.

There is also an honorable mention needed for Elizabeth Williams of Cukurova Basketbol Mersin, since she is one of only four players who have secured 8.0 rebounds or more per game this season.

In terms of those who shone when passing the rock, Morgan Green of ACS Sepsi-SIC is at the top of the chart with an excellent 6.7 and closely followed by Weronika Gajda of KGHM BC Polkowice with 6.3 assists per game.

Neither will get to add their tally after not making the Play-Offs - as is the case for two ballers locked on 5.1 per outing in the shape of Julie Allemand of LDLC ASVEL Feminin and Destiny Slocum of Serco UNI Gyor.

However, sat with 5.0 assists to their names, both Maite Cazorla of ZVVZ USK Praha and Sevgi Uzun of Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding will be ready to add to their career numbers in the competition when they line up for the Quarter-Finals.

Starting off with a glut of steals, Kennedy Burke has been the season leader throughout and her final Regular Season average of 3.2 meant the Villeneuve d'Ascq LM standout tops the chart.

It's been a monumental and historic campaign for newcomers Casademont Zaragoza and one of the main drivers behind them reaching the post-season at the first time of asking has been the defensive qualities of Mariona Ortiz. The playmaker has notched 2.7 steals per outing.

The steals bronze medal is handed to Gabby Williams of LDLC ASVEL Feminin who has continued to enhance her long-standing reputation as one of the best defensive players in the competition after snatching 2.6 per game.

'Swat Queen' honors go to Ezi Magbegor of ZVVZ USK Praha. who has been a colossus on defense with 2.4 blocks per game for the Czech outfit.

Elizabeth Williams is the only other baller to have swatted at least 2.0 per game, while Dragana Stankovic of KGHM BC Polkowice leads the rest of the chasing pack with a creditable average of 1.5 blocks.
