Playing her first game of the campaign, Jones brought the noise with a busy and impressive 23 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals, but it wasn't enough to prevent Praha falling 82-72.
Praha's defeat was also due to a super showing from Alina Iagupova who led Fenerbahce to victory by dropping 25 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks.
Kayla Alexander was a pillar of strength for Tango Bourges Basket as they breezed past Atomeromu KSC Szekszard 83-62. The Canadian logged a superb double-double of 15 points and 17 rebounds.
It has been a brilliant start to the season for BC Polkowice as they won a fourth outing in the first five games with a nail-biting 76-73 success at home to Valencia Basket Club. It was the familiar sight of Steph Mavunga leading the charge and she ended the game with 18 points, 13 boards and 2 blocks.
Finally, it was an important time for French legend Celine Dumerc to come up with a big performance as it inspired Basket Landes to their first triumph of the season. The guard excelled to help Landes outpace Kangoeroes Mechelen 76-71 by contributing 13 points after going 5 of 7 from the floor and also adding 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.
