MUNICH (Germany) - There's cause for a double celebration for Queralt Casas after she not only made it to the Quarter-Finals with Valencia Basket Club, but also did so as this week's Top Performer.
The Spanish guard played the leading role in a slice of history as her team made the post-season for the very first time with an exciting 69-64 comeback win against BC Polkowice. Casas racked up 27 points, pulled down 7 rebounds and grabbed 3 steals.
DeWanna Bonner continued her eye-catching form for CBK Mersin Yenisehir as they continued their quest to take pole position in Group B by beating fellow contenders Beretta Famila Schio. The forward led her team to a 79-67 victory with a vibrant 20 points, 10 boards and 4 assists.
Tango Bourges Basket couldn't afford any slip ups as they went to face Atomeromu KSC Szekzard and it was Alix Duchet who ensured they came away with an important 77-61 success. She produced arguably her best display of the campaign by scoring 20 points and amassing 7 assists.
The Game of the Week witnessed Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding making it 10 straight wins as they eased out ZVVZ USK Praha 73-66. Satou Sabally was the main baller for the winning team as she contributed 14 points, 6 boards, 6 assists and 3 steals.
There is also a place in the Top Performers lineup for Valeriane Vukosavljevic who helped Praha push their opponents hard, with the winger posting a nice double-double of 23 points and 10 rebounds.
