EuroLeague Women Awards: Who will get your vote for MVP?

MUNICH (Germany) - The voting for the EuroLeague Women Awards is now in full swing and there is an amazing list of talented candidates for the most prestigious accolade of MVP.

So who will follow in the footsteps of previous winners?

Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding star Alina Iagupova took the inaugural award in 2020, then retained it a year later, before Kahleah Copper took the 2022 honor in recognition for her stellar work with Perfumerias Avenida.

Here is everything you need to know about the 14 players on the MVP voting shortlist before you cast your vote below.

Who is getting your vote this year?

Yvonne Anderson (Tango Bourges Basket)

Stats: 16.4 PPG / 4.5 RPG / 4.1 APG - 15.0 EFF

One of last summer's marquee signings for Bourges, the playmaker has delivered for the French side, with Anderson providing the main punch that catapulted them into the Quarter-Finals. Her quickness and creativity is always a big factor and she has also added a consistent and valuable scoring touch this season with over 16 points per game.

 Jelena Brooks (Sopron Basket)

 Stats: 16.6 PPG / 4.8 RPG / 2.3 APG - 14.7 EFF

The vast experience of the Serbian forward is always priceless and she continued to strengthen her deep association with Sopron by giving them yet another eye-catching season. With almost 17 points per game and also doing a good job on the glass, she was one of the main reasons the 2022 champions rode their way to the post-season.

Mariella Fasoula (Perfumerias Avenida)

Stats: 11.2 PPG / 61.9% FG / 4.5 RPG - 12.6 EFF

While it was an exciting roller-coaster campaign for Perfumerias Avenida who eventually ended up just being one win way from a Final Four return, the one consistent factor throughout was Fasoula. Using her size so well, the Greek center shot the ball as brilliantly and as efficiently as usual, finishing the season having converted almost 62% from the field - the second best in the competition.

Chelsea Gray (CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld)

Stats: 16.8 PPG / 6.1 APG / 2.8 RPG - 16.5 EFF

A potential deal-maker on any given night, Gray showed why she is so highly-rated in the Quarter-Finals with a blistering Game 3 display that handed Mersin their first ever Final Four ticket. Able to hit shots from anywhere on court, her great work in creating for others has also shone through. She's one of only a small handful of ballers who have handed out more than 6 assists per game.

Tiffany Hayes (CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld)

Stats: 15.9 PPG / 4.8 RPG / 3.1 APG - 15.5 EFF

Producing a stunning Final Four a couple of seasons ago for Perfumerias Avenida, the talented Hayes will lineup at the showpiece event again. This time around she will be wearing a Mersin vest after shining all season long to help them make history. A do-it-all baller, opposing teams always have her at the top of their scouting report because they know she can do some serious damage.

Rhyne Howard (Beretta Famila Schio)

Stats: 11.9 PPG / 4.8 RPG / 2.6 APG - 13.4 EFF

A potential missing piece in the Beretta Famila Schio jigsaw, it is no coincidence that they became the first Italian team to make Final Four in more than two decades with Howard on board. The winger has been a big-time player and central component of this history-making team who took the club to the Semi-Finals for the first time.

Alina Iagupova (Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding)

Stats: 12.4 PPG / 4.8 RPG / 4.0 APG / 2.3 SPG - 16.0 EFF

A two-time winner of the MVP accolade, Iagupova scooped the first editions in 2020 and 2021. The Ukrainian guard has again been a strong performer for Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding at both ends of the floor. Able to make spectacular downtown scores, get to the hoop with her athleticism or snap up steals on defense, she remains a clear and present danger for opponents.

Brionna Jones (ZVVZ USK Praha)

Stats: 16.9 PPG / 54.6 FG / 9.2 RPG  - 20.8 EFF

The size, strength and power of Jones under the basket is a nightmare for opposing teams and it has been another highly productive campaign for Jones as a result. She drops anchor in the paint for Praha  and it has been one of the main reasons they are now looking forward to another tilt at silverware as they make a return to Final Four.

Marina Mabrey (Beretta Famila Schio)

Stats: 14.4 PPG / 4.4 RPG / 3.7 APG - 12.1 EFF

It has been a fantastic season for the guard who has pulled the strings brilliantly for Beretta Famila Schio. She has led her team in both scoring and assists en-route to their maiden Final Four. Mabrey has come up with clutch shots and is always adept at drawing fouls, as well as creating for her teammates - all have helped her team go unbeaten on their home court in the competition.

Emma Meesseman (Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding)

Stats: 15.8 PPG / 62.6% FG / 6.3 RPG / 3.3 APG - 22.5 EFF

No stranger to individual accolades, the Belgian ace has previously won Final Four MVP honors and is bidding to become the season MVP this time around after a highly productive campaign for Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding. Brilliantly efficient and leading the competition in field goal percentage, she has shown once again she is a class act and spearheaded her team's stunning winning run.

Astou Ndour (Beretta Famila Schio)

Stats: 11.8 PPG / 5.9 RPG - 14.1 EFF

The forward was exceptional for Schio as they made history with that first ever Final Four place. Ndour was a tower of strength in the series against Valencia, but has also been a pivotal figure throughout a memorable campaign, getting stronger and more influential as the season has unfolded. Physical, skilled and a real handful in the paint, she also has that ability to drop scores from downtown.

Breanna Stewart (Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding)

Stats: 20.0 PPG / 7.9 RPG / 2.0 APG - 23.8 EFF

Renowned as the best female baller on the planet, Stewart won the Final Four MVP award a couple of seasons ago and is now gunning for this MVP title. She will no doubt be one of the frontrunners because of her popularity with the fans and also because of her exceptional displays since she landed in Istanbul with Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding and did her usual amazing things on the court.

Alyssa Thomas (ZVVZ USK Praha)

Stats: 16.6 PPG / 10.9 RPG / 6.1 APG / 2.2 SPG - 25.3 EFF

The moniker Alyssa 'Triple-Double' Thomas is sticking now because when the do-it-all forward is not accomplishing that feat, she is in triple-double territory almost every single game. Her numbers and performances have been breathtaking again for Praha and she has packed another knockout blow regularly to propel them to successive Semi-Finals.

Valeriane Vukosavljevic (ZVVZ USK Praha)

Stats: 14.9 PPG / 6.3 RPG / 2.5 APG - 15.7 EFF

Playing some of the best basketball of her career this season, the French winger has always been a big factor in a Praha jersey, but even more since she came back from maternity leave. She found clutch buckets especially earlier in the season when her team really needed them and she has helped her side power their way to the Final Four again.
