EuroLeague Women 2022-23 Regular Season, Qualifying Tournaments drawn

MUNICH (Germany) - The teams that will vie for the coveted EuroLeague Women crown this season found out their first-stage opponents on Friday, upon the completion of the draw for the Regular Season groups and the Qualifying Tournaments of European women's basketball flagship club competition.

During the Regular Season draw, the 13 seeded clubs which have a direct berth and placeholders for the winners of the three tournaments were drawn into two groups of eight teams each.

Group A: Fenerbahce (TUR); ZVVZ USK Praha (CZE); Bourges Basket (FRA); Valencia BC (ESP); Atomeromu KSC Szekszard (HUN); BC Polkowice (POL); Virtus Segafredo Bologna (ITA); Winner Qualifying Tournament A

Group B: Sopron Basket (HUN); Perfumerias Avenida (ESP); Beretta Famila Schio (ITA); Basket Landes (FRA); CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld. (TUR); Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen (BEL); Winner ELW Qualifier Villeneuve D’Ascq-LM v Spar Girona; Winner ELW Qualifying Tournament B

Qualifiers draw results

Qualifying Tournament A: ACS Sepsi-SIC (ROU); Olympiacos SFP (GRE); KKZ Crvena Zvezda (SRB). The winner will be placed in Regular Season Group A while the losing team will transfer to Conference 1 of the EuroCup Women.

Qualifying Tournament B: DVTK Hun-Therm Miskolc (HUN; Elizur Landco Ramla (ISR); Botas Spor Kulubu (TUR). The winner will be placed in Regular Season Group B while the losing team will transfer to Conference 1 of the EuroCup Women.

Qualifiers Play-Off: Villeneuve d’Ascq-LM and Spar Girona will play a home-and-away Qualifier series. The winner will be placed in Regular Season Group B while the losing team will transfer to Conference 2 of the EuroCup Women.

The 2022-23 edition of the EuroLeague Women is set to tip off on October 12.
