The display led her team to a 77-70 statement win and she is joined in the line-up by teammate Jasmine Thomas who also impressed. The guard claimed a vibrant 19 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.

Elsewhere, Anastasia Logunova was the main architect of a surprise opening day victory for Nadezhda as they slipped past Dynamo Kursk 77-74. The forward was the difference-maker with 19 points and 12 rebounds.
