New EuroLeague Women logo and identity launched

MUNICH (Germany) - A dynamic and exciting new official logo and identity for EuroLeague Women has been unveiled during the official EuroLeague Women 2020-21 draw ceremony in Munich, Germany.

The new logotype, designed by Slovenian agency Zadrga, blends the distinctive shape of the competition's trophy with a basketball. The concept was to simplify and minimize the contours of both, with elegance and simplicity the key to securing an ideal visual identity.

"As our premier female club competition with the best players in the world, EuroLeague Women continues to go from strength to strength both on and off the court," said FIBA Europe Secretary General/FIBA Executive Director Europe Kamil Novak.

"Due to its ever-increasing popularity, which has been clearly reflected around engagement levels on its digital channels, the tournament is playing a big role in delivering the growth of women's basketball not only in Europe, but also across the globe.

"We're delighted to reflect the excitement around EuroLeague Women by launching this new logo and we're confident it will help to attract even more fans to this great competition."

Following the EuroLeague Women 2020-21 Regular Season Draw, the decision on the start of European club competitions will be taken by the FIBA Europe Board on September 1, 2020.
