    EuroLeague Women Regular Season groups confirmed for 2020-21 campaign

    MUNICH (Germany) - The Regular Season groups for the 2020-21 season were confirmed following the EuroLeague Women draw on Monday morning in Munich, Germany.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The Regular Season groups for the 2020-21 season were confirmed following the EuroLeague Women draw on Monday morning in Munich, Germany.

    The 14 clubs qualified for the Regular Season directly and two placeholders for teams arriving from the Qualifiers were drawn into two groups of eight teams each.

    The results of the draw are as follows:

    The 16-team field will be finalized after the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers, with four teams competing for the last two spots in the Regular Season. The clubs were split according to their geographical proximity, with the matchups pre-determined in order to respect the regulations for EuroCup Women.

    Before the official proceedings of the draw, the new EuroLeague Women logo was unveiled and presented to the general public.

    The decision on the start of EuroLeague Women and other FIBA Europe club competitions will be taken by the FIBA Europe Board on September 1, 2020.
