Mavunga makes it a double celebration after being named Top Performer

MUNICH (Germany) - Stephanie Mavunga has made a huge impression so far during her rookie EuroLeague Women season and is now celebrating the status of Top Performer for Week 3.

The powerhouse carried BLMA to their most impressive triumph in the competition for years after outlasting Dynamo Kursk 76-64, and can now revel in individual recognition after her monstrous display.

Mavunga achieved an efficiency valuation of 40 after a stellar line of 25 points and 19 rebounds, her scoring return coming by way of an eye-catching 67 percent from the field.

She will also now be favorite to land the Fan MVP award too, but there are four other contenders in our Team of the Week and you can have your say by voting below.

Alyssa Thomas is back in our line-up after another amazing contribution for ZVVZ USK Praha as they locked down Gelecek Koleji Cukurova 82-28. The forward was on it right from the tip and eventually coralled 19 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in the contest.

Meanwhile Alina Iagupova already knows what it is like to be named Top Performer and get the votes needed for Fan MVP. She completed that double after the first week of action this season and she has been impressing once more for Fenerbahce. She was the leading light in their 68-48 success against Arka Gdynia, netting 24 points from 64 percent shooting and pulling down 10 rebounds.

Bourges Basket needed a victory and at the third time of asking, they delivered - largely due to Alexia Chartereau. The forward amassed a 17-point and 17-rebound haul in a critical 70-55 road win at TTT Riga.

The last spot in our Team of the Week goes to Yvonne Turner who came up big during crunch time for Nadezhda in a hard-fought 62-55 win, adding 20 points and 5 rebounds.
