Stewart hits game winner in thriller, Vadeeva catches fire and Quigley inks deal
MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Breanna Stewart came up big in the clutch for Dynamo Kursk as they pipped Fenerbahce, while EuroLeague Women strugglers Famila Schio have turned to Allie Quigley for help.
They may have a 4-0 record, but it was another tight one for Dynamo Kursk as they inched past Fenerbahce 64-63 at home to hand their opponents a 2-2 record.
Tina Charles was the standout for Kursk with 22 points and 9 boards, but it was Stewart who delivered in crunch time as Kursk ended an epic drought which had seen them sink just one basket in the entire fourth quarter, until her timely and decisive intervention.

Dynamo Kursk playcaller Lucas Mondelo was understandably relieved afterwards and stated: "I am satisfied with the result, since we played three quarters with very good defense, but got tired at the end.
"Fenerbahce on the contrary, pushed in their offense and we had some problems. We won, but we have a long way ahead of us," he added.
UMMC Ekaterinburg were convincing against the previously unbeaten ZVVZ USK Prague as they swept their way to an impressive 87-59 success.

It was founded on a sparkling 9-of-12 effort from young Maria Vadeeva, whose 18 points were accompanied by 14 rebounds. She was deadly - along with her UMMC colleagues Alba Torrens and Emma Meesseman.
It has been a nightmare 0-3 start for Famila Schio, but the Italians have given themselves an offensive boost with the addition of the free-scoring Allie Quigley.
However, the EuroCup Women 2018 winner is not expected to play on Thursday against Bourges Basket, but should be in the lineup for Week 5.
Elsewhere, there was an emphatic first home win of the season for TTT Riga as they went into overdrive in the second half against Carolo Basket to take a stunning 93-62 victory. Shay Peddy was as instrumental as ever with 23 points, 7 assists, 3 steals and not a single turnover all night.
Victor Lapena is celebrating his first ever Regular Season win after Nadezhda belatedly got off the mark at the fourth attempt with a nerve-shredding 69-71 triumph at Castors Braine.
