Peters spearheads Week 10 Top Performers

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - It was not the outcome Hailey Peters might have hoped for, but the American forward was not to blame for Carolo Basket's loss at Hatay BB.

Going through recent struggles on and off the court, the Turkish side bounced back with a 74-66 triumph over their French visitors, who failed to capitalize on Peters' outstanding performance. Spending the entire 40 minutes on the court, the 26-year-old did it all as she collected 25 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and an efficiency of 33 to make her first appearance among the Top Performers.

On the other end, Riquna Williams proved to be a valuable signing and a bright spot for Hatay, pacing the team with an all-action 20 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals to join Peters on the Team of the Week.

The backcourt is completed by Cecilia Zandalasini after a remarkable performance in Fenerbahce's thrilling 84-80 win at Sopron Basket. The Italian international came up big in the clutch and finished with a personal best 24 points, as well as 8 rebounds to lead the Turkish giants to their fourth consecutive win in Group B.

Dynamo Kursk are still atop the group, as their 75-58 win over Olympiacos propelled them to a perfect 10-0 and secured an early ticket to the Play-Offs. Kursk could rely on their usual weapons, with Sonja Petrovic getting the Top Performer nod over Breanna Stewart this time. The Serbian forward filled the boxscore with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.

The Team of the Week is rounded out by Jantel Lavender, who racked up a 26-point, 12-rebound double-double, but ultimately saw her performance go to waste, as Famila Schio's winning momentum was halted by ESBVA-LM, 75-81.
