The Regular Season MVP had been hoping to end her rookie campaign with a maiden title and many had backed her to shine in the title game and add to her glittering array of individual honors.
But, her dreams were shattered as she suffered an agonizing injury shortly before half-time as her Dynamo Kursk team were then mauled by UMMC Ekaterinburg.
Out of the darkness of her painful exit which will also see the reigning WNBA MVP and Finals MVP ruled out of the 2019 season, Stewart has been overwhelmed by the support given to her.

That included not only fans of the game and her own dedicated army of followers, but also from other high-profile athletes, including none other than LeBron James.

Having won MVP at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2018, there was also best wishes sent from USA Basketball, as well as the WNBA and Seattle Storm, who she inspired to the Championship last year.
Meanwhile her Dynamo Kursk teammates said farewell earlier this week as Stewart headed Stateside, having left an amazing impression on EuroLeague Women during her action-packed and sparking first season.
