Schio ink Cameroon national team forward
With Kathrin Ress undergoing surgery and out for several months, Famila Schio have strengthened their depleted roster with the addition of Monique Ngo Ndjock. The forward knows the Italian league well after spells with Roma, Palma, Battipaglia, Ragusa and Gesam Gas Luca. She was in the lineup as Schio crushed Turin 93-48 as Jolene Anderson scored 19 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.

Elsewhere, Riquna Williams made her league debut with Reyer Venezia and scored 11 points in a comfortable 68-52 success against Broni. Dearica Hamby and Astou Ndour combined for 41 points as Passalacqua Ragusa proved too strong for Napoli with a 75-61 win.
Avenida suffer rare home loss
Perfumerias Avenida were brought crashing back down to earth in the wake of their magnificent EuroLeague Women success against UMMC Ekaterinburg last week. Expected to ease past Ferrol, they slipped to a first Liga Femenina home defeat in almost three years as Canadian guard Jamie Weisner poured in 21 points for the visitors in a 54-50 success.
Spar Citylift Girona were able to take full advantage as they completed a crushing 88-53 success at Lacturale Art Araski behind 20 points from Astou Traore and a 12-point and 15-rebound double-double from Brazilian Nadia Colhado.
There was also a convincing 101-51 victory for Lointek Gernika Bizkaia as a stunning seven different players achieved double-digit scoring returns against Estudiantes.
Derby delight for CCC Polkowice
After a few challenging weeks, the clouds may be lifting above CCC Polkowice after they won at Sleza Wroclaw 76-67 in a morale boosting effort. It was Elina Dikaioulakou who led the way with 17 points.
Wisla Can Pack held off Basket 90 Gdynia by 73-63, as Leonor Rodriquez spearheaded the victory by sinking 20 points, with Artego Bydgoszcz also winning at home as they defeated Poznan 79-72.
Gajic goes off for Mersin
Marica Gajic produced some truly eye-bulging numbers for Mersin to carry her team to a 68-61 road win at Ormanspor.
The talented Bosnia and Herzegovina forward erupted for 21 points and 19 rebounds in the success – a great sign for her country ahead of next month's FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Qualifiers. It was also the first victory for Mersin this season.
It was a similar scenario for Hatay as they also won on their travels, profiting from a huge double-double from Courtney Paris who carried them past Cukurova 91-76 with 20 points and 14 boards.
Galatasaray won their derby matchup against Istanbul Universitesi 91-78 after 10 assists from Isil Alben and 21 points from her backcourt partner Allie Quigley, while Ayse Cora netted 18 points for Fenerbahce as they jumped past Bornova Beckerspor 87-61.

Yakin Dogu Universitesi pushed aside Samsun 65-47 as Courtney Vandersloot added an all-action 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, with Agu Spor beating Besiktas 64-50 as Danielle Page garnered 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Gruda signs for Lyon and Nantes record an eye-opening result
Sandrine Gruda has put pen to paper on a deal to play with Lyon for the next couple of months and the club needs her after they slumped to a 74-59 loss to Flammes Carolo. The visitors made it four wins in a row, with their success mainly due to 20 points and 9 rebounds from Clarissa Dos Santos.
Johanne Gomis continued her fine form as ESBVA-LM also won on the road, beating Roche Vendee 74-59, with the guard scoring 20 points from a dazzling 80 percent from the floor.
Tango Bourges Basket had little difficulty in beating Basket Landes 73-51 at Le Prado, but Saint-Amand had to work harder to outpace Mondeville 73-69, with Katarina Tetemondova accumulating a classy 15 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals.
Perhaps the biggest surprise and best performance came at BLMA who were left reeling from a 67-60 home court defeat by Nantes Reze. Lidija Turcinovic was outstanding with 26 points and 9 rebounds.
Oblak leads the way for KSC Szekszard
KSC Szekszkard celebrated their best win of the season as Teja Oblak rattled off 21 points in a 79-74 win at CMB Cargo Uni Gyor in a battle of the EuroCup Women clubs.
Sopron smashed past Cegledi 86-51 and there was double disappointment for Pecs duo PEAC and PINKK Pecsi 424. The latter were soundly beaten 78-54 by Miskolc as Tereza Peckova added 22 points and 9 rebounds, with PEAC-Pecs edged out 60-56 at ZTE Noi KK.

Russian powerhouse Dynamo Kursk won their derby with Inventa Kursk 85-60, while UMMC reacted to their EuroLeague Women loss last week by overrunning Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje 87-43, after Brittney Griner scored 20 points.
In Germany, Marina Markovic inked 20 points for Rutronik Stars Keltern as they beat Saarlouis Royals 91-68 on the road, but they're still chasing DBBL leaders TSV 1880 Wasserburg, who beat Herner 84-65 with six players in double figures.
In the ZBL, Krystal Vaughn exploded for 30 points to send Basketball Nymburk past Slovanka 78-69 and there was no mistake for ZVVZ USK Prague as they routed city rival Slavia Prague 98-69. Finally, Edita Sujanova finished with 16 points for KP Brno as they won 75-51 in Ostrava.
