Semi-Finals First Leg Top Performers: Li, Evans, Magarity, Fagbenle, Villa

MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women Semi-Finals first leg games witnessed a number of stellar individual displays, with all four participating clubs having at least one standout performer.

You can choose who you think is MVP by casting your vote in the fan poll below.

Having previously impressed in the Quarter-Finals, powerhouse center Yueru Li continued her rich vein of form as Besiktas inked a fabulous home success against Spar Girona. She was the rock for an 81-60 success that now has her team with one foot in the Final.

Li had the highest performance efficiency valuation of the week at 29 due to putting up a nice double-double of 20 points and 10 rebounds - helped by shooting a sparkling 75 percent from the field. Meanwhile, the Besiktas backcourt was fueled impressively by Dana Evans who brought the noise for the Turkish side with a typically influential offering of 27 points, 6 assists and 3 steals.

The last quarter for Girona was hugely disappointing as they allowed Besiktas to accumulate a huge lead and giving themselves a mountain to climb in the return game. However, had it not been for the contribution of Swedish forward Regan Magarity it could have been even worse since she impressed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

London Lions and Umana Reyer Venice played out a wonderful first Semi-Final contest, with the former taking a 69-68 road win in Italy. The best work for the Lions came from the hand of Temi Fagbenle, who torched her ex-employers with an excellent 24 points and 6 rebounds.

A stirring comeback by Reyer who had been down by as many as 19 points was what made the game so compelling and a chink of their renaissance was down to young playmaker Matilde Villa. She shone with 14 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
