Quarter-Finals Second Leg Top Performers: Li, Shepard, Samuelson, Mendy, Gustafson

MUNICH (Germany) - The Quarter-Finals of the competition concluded with some exceptional individual performances as a number of standout ballers propelled their teams into the last four.

There was joy for powerhouse Yueru Li who went to work in the paint for Besiktas as they claimed an exciting 75-72 success at Lattes-Montpellier.  She racked up the highest performance efficiency valuation of the week at 28 having claimed 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.

Two of the reasons London Lions are looking forward to stepping out in the Semi-Finals are Megan Gustafson and Karlie Samuelson who both repeat their inclusion from the Top Performers lineup from the first leg.

Gustafson led Lions under the basket as they beat Melikgazi Kayseri 82-70 and registered 24 points and 6 rebounds, with Samuelson accumulating 19 points and 9 rebounds.  

Spar Girona completed a fantastic win double against Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring, taking an entertaining 83-81 victory in Istanbul that was built around 20 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds from Magali Mendy.

Last but not least, Jessica Shepard continued her superb campaign with another excellent contribution of 17 points and 17 rebounds as Umana Reyer Venice took down TTT Riga 88-78 to ride into the Semi-Finals.
