MUNICH (Germany) - The remaining four teams in the EuroCup Women 2023-24 season are now confirmed after the Quarter-Finals concluded on Thursday.
Besiktas, Spar Girona and Umana Reyer Venice all booked their places in the Semi-Finals to join London Lions, who were first to advance 24 hours earlier.
Three-time runners-up Reyer will take on London for a place in the Final, while Besiktas and Girona will meet in the other last four encounter.
The confirmed Semi-Finals pairings are as follows:
London Lions (GBR) vs Umana Reyer Venice (ITA)
Spar Girona (ESP) vs Besiktas (TUR)
London continued their historic run with victory over Melikgazi Kayseri across both legs, with Reyer backing up a dominant first-leg performance to overcome TTT Riga in their last eight showdown.
Meanwhile, Girona eliminated two-time winners Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring as they added a win in Istanbul to a 13-point triumph at home to seal a return to the last four for the first time since the 2018-19 season.
Besiktas ensured one Turkish side remains as they finally made it to the Semi-Finals - having lost at this stage on three previous occasions - with victories against Lattes-Montpellier in both legs.
The Semi-Finals will be played in the same two-legged format with the higher-ranked team from the Regular Season earning home advantage for the second leg. The dates are provisionally scheduled for March 7 and March 14, but are subject to change.
The two teams that advance will compete in the Finals across two legs, on April 3 and April 10 to determine the 2024 champions.
