MUNICH (Germany) - Kamiah Smalls saved her season best for the first leg of the Semi-Final as she kept Villeneuve d'Ascq LM in contention for the title with a scorching display against LDLC ASVEL Feminin.

Even if her stunning contribution of 21 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a block couldn't prevent an 84-80 loss, her efforts could prove priceless if Villeneuve wins Game 2.

Smalls formed an effective one-two punch with Kennedy Burke who also showed out as the versatile American produced a classy 28 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals.

The winning team also relied on a couple of headline acts as Gabby Williams led the way for ASVEL with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals.

The other most notable effort came from her teammate Blake Dietrick who contributed 13 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists, although most impressively didn't miss a shot all night.

Finally, Teaira McCowan has been a near ever-present in this season's weekly Top Performers and she continues to dazzle with another colossal double-double. Her 21 points and 16 boards provided the backbone for Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring to surge past Umana Reyer Venezia 74-49.
