MUNICH (Germany) - The dominance of Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring star Teaira McCowan has been underlined after she was named as the EuroCup Women MVP for March

It is the third time that the monthly honor has been landed by the center as her phenomenal debut season for the Istanbul juggernauts continues. McCowan was also crowned the top player in the competition during December and January.

In three outings during the period, McCowan was the pivotal figure as usual; firstly amassing 20 points and 16 rebounds in the Quarter-Final second leg against Cadi La Seu as her team finished the job 75-65 for a big aggregate success.

Stepping out on her homecourt for the first Semi-Finals clash against Umana Reyer Venezia, McCowan was on fire again and inspired a one-sided 74-49 triumph that witnessed Galatasaray stride purposefully towards the Final - finishing the contest with 21 points and 16 boards.

Even when Galatasaray went down in the second leg 69-60 on Italian soil, McCowan made sure that the cushion from the previous week was more than enough to see them through with 17 points and 18 rebounds.

It's not a surprise that McCowan is delighted to be operating in top gear this season and is counting the days until the two-legged Finals against LDLC ASVEL Feminin, especially with Galatasaray on the verge of a potential record-equaling third EuroCup Women title.

"This season means a lot to me personally because I am happy and I am enjoying  living in the moment right now," said McCowan. "It means a lot to me knowing that I will be a part of something that will be talked about in the future.

"Playing in the Finals is something the club wanted at the beginning of the season. Moving forward we will have to make sure that we are all on the same page and we keep playing team defense and offense."

During March, the Turkish national team star accumulated a stunning performance efficiency valuation of 28.7 having posted a double-double month of 19.3 points and 16.7 rebounds per game.
