MUNICH (Germany) - Three more EuroCup Women Regular Season teams are now known after Grengewald, Lointek Gernika and Banco di Sardegna Sassari all advanced to the main phase of the competition.
Each of the trio bagged the wins they needed in the second leg of the Qualifiers to make sure, with Grengewald of Luxembourg taking a maiden Regular Season berth.
Holding a narrow three-point advantage from their first meeting on the road with Sportiva AzorisHotels, they finished the job in style with a 72-53 home court victory. The success was built around a sensational 32 points and 8 boards from Dejza James, plus 16 points and 7 rebounds from Katarina Vuckovic.
Already leading by a commanding 40-point margin from the first game in Belgium, Lointek Gernika had little difficulty in breezing past Phantoms Basket Boom for a second time.

They racked up a 92-51 triumph thanks mainly to Sofia Silva dropping 17 points and 9 rebounds, plus Italian Laura Spreafico firing a team high 20 points and Roso Buch weighing in with 18 points.
It was a slightly different story for Banco di Sardegna Sassari who had also coasted past Belgian opposition in the first game at House of Talents Spurs, but had to work harder to take a 67-55 second leg win. Samantha Thomas was on fire at both ends of the court for Sassari with a wonderful 20 points and 8 steals.
