MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women Finals for the 2022-23 season are now set with Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring and LDLC ASVEL Feminin advancing to the title decider.

Two-time winners Galatasaray will meet ASVEL across two legs with the French side reaching the Final of the competition for the first time.

Galatasaray defeated three-time runners-up Umana Reyer Venezia in the Semi-Finals with a 134-118 victory on aggregate, despite losing the second leg, while ASVEL overcame domestic rivals Villeneuve d'Ascq LM in both legs of their thrilling tie for an overall 155-149 success.

ASVEL could become the fourth French side to win the competition as they aim to join Aix-en-Provence, Tango Bourges Basket and Villeneuve on the roll of honor.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray first lifted the title in 2009 by overcoming Cras Basket Taranto before repeating their success in 2018 with victory over Reyer Venezia. They could join Dynamo Moscow as the only other team to have won the competition on three occasions.

The first leg of the Finals is scheduled to take place on April 5 and will be hosted in Lyon as Galatasaray earn home advantage for the second leg as a result of their higher seeding from the Regular Season classification.

The champions of the 2022-23 season will be crowned in Istanbul with the reverse fixture set for April 12.
