MUNICH (Germany) - Standout baller Teaira McCowan has been recognized for her continued stellar work with Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring by being crowned EuroCup Women MVP for January.

Having also won the prestigious accolade for December, it marks back-to-back individual honors for the powerhouse center after continuing to be the most potent performer in the competition.

In three outings during the period, McCowan was highly influential again - starting off by propelling her team to a fabulous 78-61 road win at Uni Gyor in the first leg of the Play-Off Round 1.

McCowan accumulated a super double-double of 17 points and 18 rebounds as well as 4 big blocks. She then helped finish the job in the return game, recording 16 points and 11 boards in a 64-54 win.

The Turkey national team star then put her team in a great position after the first leg of the Round of 16 by completing some typically fine work in the paint against BLMA. She was central to an 88-75 success after amassing an eye-catching 29 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.

During January, McCowan harvested a sparkling performance efficiency valuation of 28.7 with strong averages of 20.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game.
