Week 4 Top Performers: Shepard, Tadic, Giroud, Hines-Allen, Lucas

MUNICH (Germany) - Jessica Shepard of Banco Sardegna Sassari stole the limelight on Gameday 4 of EuroCup Women after posting the best performance in the competition this season.

Amassing a stunning efficiency valuation of 52, she was at the heart of a memorable night for the Italian side as they wrote an exciting new chapter with a first-ever Regular Season success. Shepard poured in a stellar 42 points to help outpace BCF Elfic Fribourg 81-74 and also added a brilliant 20 rebounds. 

Her Sassari teammate Maggie Lucas also delivered and gets a spot as one of the top performers after the guard did it at both ends of the floor with 23 points, 9 assists and 6 steals.

In a tight game that only saw the hosts edge away in the last minutes, Fribourg star Marielle Giroud almost denied the home team their big moment. The Swiss was exceptional in defeat with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. 

There were celebrations for another Italian club in the shape of Virtus Segafredo Bologna as they got their first win of the campaign by beating Lointek Gernika 67-62 on the road. The victory came by way of a huge double-double of 34 points and 16 rebounds from Myisha Hines-Allen.

Tarbes GB stamped their pass to the next phase of the competition behind some amazing work from Ana Tadic who was unstoppable as they moved past KP Brno 73-56. The frontcourt ace had an all-action 23 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals.
