French duo take a leap towards the Regular Season
MUNICH (Germany) - There was joy for both Flammes Carolo Basket and Tarbes GB as they both took first leg road wins in the EuroCup Women Qualifiers on the opening night of the new campaign.
Flammes were far too hot to handle for Piestanske Cajky and the visitors claimed a 74-62 success on Slovakian soil to jump into the box-seat ahead of next week's reverse game.

Tarbes GB exposed a gulf in class and depth when they blasted away newcomers House of Talents Spurs in Belgium. They completed a one-sided 96-41 victory in a huge team effort as six players returned double-digit scores, including an MVP display of 26 points from Julie Wojta, plus a classy 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists from Ana Tadic.
