MUNICH (Germany) - Three of the teams heading to the maiden EuroCup Women Final Four next month are now known after KSC Szekszard, Reyer Venezia and Valencia Basket Club secured the wins needed to progress.

Hungarian side KSC Szekszard were the first to book their place as they outpaced Elazig Il Ozel Idare 77-67 to end the impressive run of the Turkish rookies. Szekszard made history of their own by making the Semi-Finals for the first time.

DeWanna Bonner was again instrumental as she claimed 21 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. There was also a nice show from playmaker Agnes Studer who added 16 points and 6 rebounds, while Alexandra Theodorean was essential defensively in setting the tone by locking down the dangerous Nika Baric, with Emma Cannon the standout player in defeat with a colossal 20 points and 20 rebounds.

Valencia Basket Club also wrote a new line of history as they proved too strong for ESBVA-LM, progressing with an 81-67 victory against their French opponents.

Valencia were well on top at the break when holding a commanding advantage, but ESBVA-LM made them work as they posted a 28-16 third period to haul themselves back into contention. However, Valencia got the job done down the stretch and finished strongly to move out of sight.

Laura Gil was a handful in the paint and shared 40 points with frontcourt partner Bec Allen,  while Queralt Casas was as energetic and as lively as usual, with the guard netting 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.

Reyer Venezia confirmed their berth after they produced a strong second half to shake off a pesky ACS Sepsi-Sic 78-64, with Great Britain center Temi Fagbenle responsible for much of the team's best work.

She was clinical for the second game in a row with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists, while Yvonne Anderson took care of the backcourt with 15 points and 7 assists. Rebekah Gardner starred for Sepsi with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists as they bowed out.

The last ticket to the Final Four will be taken be either Carolo Basket or BCF Elfic Fribourg, who will fight it out in the remaining Quarter-Finals clash on Friday.
