Valencia were well on top at the break when holding a commanding advantage, but ESBVA-LM made them work as they posted a 28-16 third period to haul themselves back into contention. However, Valencia got the job done down the stretch and finished strongly to move out of sight.
Laura Gil was a handful in the paint and shared 40 points with frontcourt partner Bec Allen, while Queralt Casas was as energetic and as lively as usual, with the guard netting 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists.
Reyer Venezia confirmed their berth after they produced a strong second half to shake off a pesky ACS Sepsi-Sic 78-64, with Great Britain center Temi Fagbenle responsible for much of the team's best work.
