Red hot Copper crowned Top Performer after opening action of Regular Season

MUNICH (Germany) - Kahleah Copper didn't waste any time in making an instant splash on the new EuroCup Women campaign after an extraordinary shooting display landed her Top Performer honors.

Copper was on absolute fire for InvestInTheWest INEA Gorzow as the Polish side overwhelmed KP Brno 93-57 to get off to a winning start.  The forward recorded a eye-bulging efficiency valuation of 39 after sinking a competition season high 33 points, along with 11 rebounds and 4 steals.

There are two Croatian players in contention, with Ivana Dojkic having shot the lights out as well for KSC Szekszard as they rode past Basket Hema SKW 59-55 in a tight one. The success was very much down to the guard after Dojkic wrote a sparkling stat line and did it at both ends of the floor with 28 points, 8 steals, 7 boards and 4 assists.

Meanwhile center Luca Ivankovic provided the main thrust for what was arguably the biggest upset of the week as Bellona Kayseri Basketbol cut down Polish Champions CCC Polkowice 64-59 on the road. Ivankovic weighed in with a super 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Courtney Paris also excelled in the paint as she laid the foundation for a mammoth 109-65 victory for Orman Genclik at A3 Basket Umea, The powerhouse center was unstoppable with an 18-point and 15-rebound double-double, along with 4 assists.

Finally, Yvonne Anderson did all she could for Besiktas with an impressive 28 points and 6 assists, but couldn't prevent her team from slipping to an 80-71 road loss at Sparta&K M.R. Vidnoje.
