Reyer Venezia roar into the Round of 16

VENICE (EuroCup Women) - Reyer Venezia made another loud roar against Basket Landes to stroll into the EuroCup Women Round of 16.

VENICE (EuroCup Women) - Reyer Venezia made another loud roar against Basket Landes to stroll into the EuroCup Women Round of 16.

They became  the first club to advance from Play-Offs Round 1 as they followed up a first-leg road win at Basket Landes with a one-sided 78-58 success on home soil on Wednesday night.

Jolene Anderson was the star of the show as she posted an all-action line of 17 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals, spoiling the return of Landes playcaller and former Reyer player Cathy Melain.

Having started the season in the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers, the Italian side now look like they could make up for that disappointment by making a deep run in this competition.

Reyer Venezia made the 2018 EuroCup Women Final but fell at the last hurdle to Galatasaray.
