MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – We shine a light on some of the players set to excel for DVTK Miskolc, Rutronik Stars Keltern, PEAC-Pecs and Flammes Carolo Basket in EuroCup Women Group F.

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – We shine a light on some of the players set to excel for DVTK Miskolc, Rutronik Stars Keltern, PEAC-Pecs and Flammes Carolo Basket in EuroCup Women Group F.

Clarissa Dos Santos (Flammes Carolo Basket)

Initially destined to suit up with Sopron Basket in EuroLeague Women, Dos Santos now finds herself back on French soil. The powerful Brazilian forward was at Tango Bourges last season and will have few difficulties settling into things, so should be able to be a major contributor for her new club.

    Monica Engelman (DVTK Miskolc)

Engleman is likely to be the main source of offensive production for her team and the last time she was in EuroCup Women with Piestanske Cajky she poured in almost 15 points per game. The guard is a difference-maker who will be ready to make clutch shots if needed.

    Tatsiana Likhtarovich (Rutronik Stars Keltern)

An Olympian who has been an 'X-Factor' player for Belarus at international level and so much so, she averaged double digits for her nation in Rio last year. Likhtarovich is a spark on any team and sleeping on her isn't an option, since the winger can score in bunches.

    Sarah Imovbioh (PEAC-Pecs)

Imovbioh is ready to make a highly-anticipated EuroCup Women debut and will provide PEAC-Pecs with a physical presence. She produced a fruitful first pro-season in Liga Femenina last year when she was not far away from harvesting a season double-double in points and rebounds for CREF Hola!

    Zenta Melnika (DVTK Miskolc)

The Latvian center was a colossus at Udominate last season in EuroCup Women and put up some eye-bulging numbers - especially on the glass where she pulled down more than 11 rebounds per game. If she can increase her scoring output this year, then she will be a real handful for anybody that comes up against DVTK.

    Renee Montgomery (Flammes Carolo Basket)

For Carolo Basket to have such a top drawer player in addition to their already talented roster is a major plus that will catapult them towards a new status as frontrunners. In Montgomery, they not only have WNBA Finals quality, but also vast amounts of experience and she is a superb pick-up for them as she can score freely and will show composure in the big moments when they come.

    Agnieszka Fikiel (Rutronik Stars Keltern)

Fikiel can be a valuable anchor under the basket for her new team and the know-how of the experienced center will be priceless as she moves from arch rivals Wasserburg. The German international is also important in the locker room and someone her colleagues will look up to. Even if her numbers aren't huge on the stats sheet, she brings intangibles to the mix.

    Maja Vucurovic (PEAC-Pecs)

Arguably one of the most underrated performers in EuroCup Women last season, Vucurovic was a leading light for rookies Keltern on their superb run in the competition. Now she will get to go up against her ex-employers, with the forward having made a switch to Pecs. A tidy player who will score and chase down boards for her team, she is likely to be well received by the fans in Hungary.
