EuroCup Women Round of 8 field set

MUNICH (EuroCup Women) – The EuroCup Women Round of 8 field is set, following the conclusion of the Round of 16 on Thursday evening.

40 teams began the EuroCup Women Regular Season, with only eight of those remaining. However, a further four clubs will enter the competition at the next stage, the Quarter-Finals, from EuroLeague Women.

Like the Round of 16, the Round of 8 match-ups will be played in a home-and-away format, with the higher-seeded team (listed second in each pairing below) playing the return leg at home.

The pairings are as follows:

Good Angels Kosice (SVK) v Reyer Venezia (ITA)
Spar Citylift Girona (ESP) v Virtus Eirene (ITA)
Mersin (TUR) v Carolo Basket (FRA)
KSC Szekszard (HUN) v Hatay Basket (TUR)

The Round of 8 will commence on January 25, with the return leg on February 1.

The Quarter-Finals will tip-off exactly one month later when the 5^th and 6^th-placed teams from each of the EuroLeague Women Regular Season groups join the four Round of 8 winners.
