Which four teams can clinch Qualifiers berths on Saturday?

MUNICH (Germany) - There are four places remaining in the FIBA EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers but three of them might be off the table as soon as Saturday's action in the Pre-Qualifiers finishes.

Up to three teams of Belarus, Denmark, Great Britain and Portugal stand to join the 28 nations already in the Qualifiers via alternative routes – either earlier rounds of the EuroBasket Pre-Qualifiers or the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers.

The Pre-Qualifiers will conclude next week with the last four games of the Third Round to be played on Wednesday, August 21. Meanwhile, the FIBA EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers will begin in February 2020 and will be played across three windows. 

Group E

 

Permutations:

- Denmark would secure a place in the Qualifiers with a win;
- Belarus would secure a place in the Qualifiers with a win of at least 4 points;
- If Belarus win by 1-3 points, no team can qualify on Saturday;
- Albania have already been eliminated from contention.

Feeds to:

Group C of the Qualifiers with Belgium, Czech Republic and Lithuania.

Group F

 

Permutations:

- No team can qualify on Saturday;
- Cyprus have already been eliminated from contention.

Feeds to:

Group A of the Qualifiers with Israel, Poland and Spain.

Group G

Permutations:

- Great Britain would secure a place in the Qualifiers with a win.

Feeds to:

Group G of the Qualifiers with Germany, France and Montenegro.

Group H

Permutations:

- Portugal would secure a place in the Qualifiers with a win.

Feeds to:

Group E of the Qualifiers with Finland, Georgia and Serbia.
