    Israel with magical comeback to down Germany for first win

    TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Israel stormed back from a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Germany 82-80 for their first win in Group B of the FIBA EuroBasket 2017.

    TEL AVIV (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - Israel stormed back from a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat Germany 82-80 for their first win in Group B of FIBA EuroBasket 2017, at home in Tel Aviv. 

    Richard Howell collected 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 steals while Omri Casspi had 20 points and 11 rebounds and Guy Pnini picked up 15 points, including the three-pointer to complete the comeback with 28 seconds left for Israel. The home team improved to 1-2 in Group B. 

    Germany dropped their first game of the tournament and fell to 2-1 despite 20 points, 7 assists and 3 steals from Dennis Schroder. Daniel Theis picked up 15 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks in the loss.
