PARIS (France) – Our hosts Greydy Diaz and former World Cup finalist Bas Rozendaal focused on Latvia’s men – the only undefeated team left in the tournament – in the fifth episode of the Ten-Minute Sprint, our live reaction show that covers the Paris 2024 3x3 Olympic tournament.
They caught up with Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalist Agnis Cavars to debrief about Latvia’s 22-8 victory against China, which set a new mark for win with the largest margin in 3x3 history for the men’s category. He wasn’t as pleased with his countrymen’s narrow success over USA (21-19), playing without their star Jimmer Fredette, who is nursing a groin injury.
Diaz and Rozendaal aka ‘The Mountain’ also welcomed on the show former World Cup bronze medalist Angelo Tsagarakis to hear his views about France’s 1-3 start and professional dunker Joel Henry aka ‘The Royal Guard’. The British high-riser watched the 3x3 action today, together with another royalty member, ‘The King’ LeBron James. More celebrity games attended the show, from Kevin Durant, Derrick White, Tony Parker, Leonie Fiebich. Even the crew from ‘Emily from Paris’ was here to witness one of the loudest crowds ever heard at a 3x3 game.
Our two hosts dropped some tactical knowledge and both thought they made the best selections for player of the day.
To find out who their picks were and which expert reigns supreme on the fantasy and predictor games, don’t miss the Ten-Minute Sprint Episode 5.
